You may know Decluttr as the site where you can buy and sell your books, video games, and DVDs. However, it has also been growing its refurbished tech business and it now sells refurbished iPads, as well as refurbished iPhones, Apple Watches, and more.
The Decluttr Certified Refurbished program helps you to know that you’re getting a great quality iPad at a great price. Its iPads are refurbished in-house and go through a 70 point inspection process.
This test offers a full inspection of the battery health, checking the screen for cracks and technical faults, and Decluttr will remove all personal data from the device too. Decluttr Certified Refurbished devices, like your refurbished iPad, also come with a Certificate of Identification and Functionality to prove that they have passed the test.
Decluttr currently offers an iPad Mini 1 for just $154, including free shipping. That’s a saving of $405 or 72%. Another big discount offered by Decluttr is the refurbished iPad Air 2 which it sells for just $199 with free shipping, which is a massive saving of 60%. The retailer often offers special discounts too, allowing you to save another $10-$30 on the refurbished iPad - so there are some deals that are definitely worth waiting for!
The 12 month limited warranty offered by Decluttr will cover you if there are any defects in the iPad or in the repair process. Mac of All Trades
Mac of All Trades has been selling refurbished Apple products since before it was even cool. For over 20 years, the retailer has been offering refurbished iMacs, iPhones, MacBooks and iPads to hundreds of thousands of happy customers.
Mac of All Trades is a Google Trusted Store, has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, and has been on the Inc. 5000 list for five years running. The only things shinier than Mac of All Trades’ reputation are the screens on the refurbished products it sells.
A big part of Mac of All Trades’ reputation as a seller of refurbished iPads and other goods is because of its testing process. The retailer’s testing process is in four parts, starting with unpacking the pre-owned device, doing a visual inspection, testing the hardware, before erasing the data and cleaning the iPad.
The iPad will be put through a 40-point visual inspection and then a hardware test as the screen, battery life, memory, graphics and more are all put to the test. The iPad will then be repaired, if needed, before it is cleaned, shrink-wrapped and labelled, ready to be shipped out to you.
Mac of All Trades’ discounts on refurbished iPads aren’t as strong as some of the others on the list. However, you can still save some good money on a refurbished iPad compared to one that you would buy brand new. The devices also come with free shipping.
One of its biggest discounts is for the iPad 2, which Mac of All Trades offers for $149 which is a saving of 76%.
It also offers a small discount on newer iPads. The refurbished iPad Mini 5 with 64GB of storage is being offered for $349 which is around $50 cheaper than the brand new price.
A refurbished iPad from Mac of All Trades will come with a 90-day standard warranty. You can request a repair within 90 days of the iPad being delivered and the repair will typically be done within about three days.
If Mac of All Trades can’t repair the iPad then it will give you a replacement or, if no replacement is available, it will give you store credit.
Mac of All Trades also offers extended warranties, for one or two years, but these cost more. You can buy them within the time of the 90-day standard warranty, but the extended warranty will begin from the time your product was delivered.
Mac of All Trades offers 20 refurbished iPads at the moment. To easily see the current offer go here. There are refurbished iPads, iPad Minis, and iPad Pros with varying storage sizes and colors to choose from.

One very good reason to buy refurbished iPads through Apple is for the warranty. Apple offers a free, one-year limited warranty on all of its refurbished devices.
With this warranty, you will get a free repair, replacement, or refund if your refurbished iPad is defective in any way.
Apple also has a warranty extension program, which allows you to purchase more AppleCare coverage for your refurbished iPad. This does cost money, however, so you may want to keep to the free one-year warranty if you’re on a tight budget.
